Our Mission
The mission of Children’s Flight of Hope is to provide free air transportation to and from medical facilities for seriously ill or injured children who – due to medical, financial or logistical reasons – cannot travel to their destinations by any other method.
Our precious cargo deals with everything from severe burns to painful and often disfiguring genetic disorders, from heart and lung defects to various forms of cancer. While treatments may be readily available, the families we serve lack transportation to and from medical facilities, which can be located far from their homes.
Children’s Flight of Hope was founded to meet the transportation needs of these families. We offer our services free of charge to children between birth and eighteen years of age and serve families of all races, ethnicities and backgrounds.
We offer flights through commercial airlines, our partnership with an area charter service, and our own Cessna 414 aircraft, making every effort to ensure our families’ flights are as comfortable and logistically seamless as possible.
