The 2003 Children's Flight of Hope Pro-Am was a resounding success! Thank you to everyone who helped make this year's tournament the best we have ever had. On Sunday evening, October 19, we were joined by over 200 guests at The Cosmopolitan restaurant in Cary. Our Wings of Hope Reception & Charity Auction raised over $40,000 that evening! Thank you to all of the wonderful individuals and corporations that donated items to our auction and to all of the generous bidders that purchased the items we had for sale. We also want to thank Savannah Hall and Meredith Brown and their families for joining us; having CFH families with us made the evening even more special. Thank you also to John Toler, Bill McGhee, and everyone at the Cosmopolitan for putting together such a classy evening for our guests to enjoy.

On Monday, October 20, 19 generous corporations sponsored 23 foursomes, a record number for the Pro-Am! A PGA Professional joined each foursome for 18 holes under a beautiful blue North Carolina sky. We are extremely grateful for the continuing support of GlaxoSmithKline as our title sponsor. Their contribution and those made by all of our sponsors made this tournament possible. Our net income for the weekend topped $175,000 - again a record for the Pro-Am! We also want to thank Ben Hynson, Armando Pinto, and all of the folks at MacGregor for helping us to pull off this very special event.
