Fund-A-Flight

tammy2Since 1991, Children’s Flight of Hope has flown children who suffer from a wide range of diseases and infirmities, including children who must be refitted with new prosthetic limbs as they grow, children battling life-threatening childhood cancers such a neuroblastoma, and children facing repeated surgeries to repair horrific burns.

Tammy is one of those last. This little girl, a victim of a domestic dispute, has suffered terribly. In a rage, her father doused their family home with gasoline and ignited it. He killed Tammy’s brother, her maternal grandmother and himself. Tammy was burned over thirty percent of her body and survived by virtue of her personal strength, her mother’s devotion, and the superb care she received at the Cincinnati Shriner’s Hospital burn unit far from her home.

Children’s Flight of Hope will continue to transport Tammy and her mother to the many surgeries she will face over her childhood thanks to Fund-A-Flight supporters like you.

Join our Fund-A-Flight campaign and ask your employees or organization members to donate money and then match their funds. Let your employees/members know your goal is to fund 1, 2 or more CFOH flights. We’ll send you a photo of the child whose flight you sponsored so that you can share with your employees.
