Children’s Flight of Hope and Moe’s Southwest Grill Prepare to Take Flight

In preparation of 2011 Wings Over Wayne Airshow at the Seymour Johnson AFB, Children’s Flight of Hope will have their first official “2011 Moe’s Southwest Grill Wash the Plane Day” at the Raleigh Executive Jetport in Sanford, NC on Friday, April 8 at 12:30 p.m.
More than 20 TW Telecom employees will donate their time and talent to washing and waxing the aircraft that provides free, private air transport for hundreds of needy families. In addition to volunteers, the aircraft will be inspected by none other than Wool E. Bull, the Durham Bull’s mascot
“Children’s Flight of Hope is such an important and inspirational organization,” said Jennifer Wade, Moe’s Triangle Co-Op President. “Moe’s is extremely honored to get behind this touching cause and is looking forward getting the plane ready for the airshow as well for its life changing flights.”
The Raleigh Executive Jetport in Sanford is home to CFOH’s Cessna 414, the aircraft used to carry out their mission to provide access to quality medical care for ill and injured children in need. All CFOH missions are carried out by an elite cadre of volunteer pilots flying children and their families to medical visits within a 600 nautical mile radius of the Raleigh-Durham area.
